Yearsley Bloodstock Insurance is a domestic and international provider of horse insurance. We work with the world’s leading carriers and A rated domestic companies. Our clients benefit from our many years of horse industry experience and special relationships with these markets. Our team of specialists is committed to providing the highest standards in the equine insurance industry. We also have selected agents in the field throughout the United States representing us at major horse events.
Founded in 1991 by Nancy Yearsley and based in Lexington Kentucky, Yearsley Bloodstock Insurance is a leading equine insurance agency insuring all breeds and disciplines. As president, Nancy brings years of equine insurance experience to her clients worldwide. She has devoted her life to horses and her story began in Unionville (Chester County), Pennsylvania, where as a child she participated in dressage, show jumping and fox hunting. As a young adult she galloped race horses all along the East Coast at the major race tracks from Hialeah Park to Saratoga Race Track. She holds an undergraduate degree from Delaware University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Over the years Nancy went on to become a successful owner and breeder in both the racing thoroughbred and quarter horse arena. She co-owned and managed leading California thoroughbred stallion Flying Continental and Value the Man, winner of the GI Los Alamitos Million Futurity. She has been a major consignor of both thoroughbreds and quarter horses. She is a member of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA), Kentucky Farm Managers Club, California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, American Quarter Horse Association, Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association, and Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association. Her experience and background make her uniquely qualified to head up her team of insurance specialists.
